Congratulations!
Congratulations to St. Francis Medical Center’s employees and physicians on their successful Go-Live and transition to ConnectCare. At 2 a.m. on March 27, the hospital became the fourth Bon Secours Virginia hospital to launch the electronic medical record.
“I am so proud of the Go-Live this morning!” said Mark Gordon, St. Francis CEO, on the first day of use. “Everyone transitioned with competence, patience, and grace. Thank you for your hard work and blessings for our continued excellent focus on the patient.”
The next ConnectCare hospital launch will be at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital in Hampton Roads later this year.
Getting Ready for Go-Live on 3-27-11
Preparations are well underway for the St. Francis Medical Center Go-Live on March 27, 2011. Below are links to files with important information:

Employees with questions during Go-Live should ask Credentialed Trainers (purple shirts) and Super Users (pink shirts) for real-time help. Still need help? Call Central ISSC Support at (804) 627-5070.
Physicians with questions during Go-Live can call (804) 287-3555 for support.
Prepping for ConnectCare
While Patient Access underwent construction upgrades in preparation for the incoming ConnectCare electronic medical records system, patients and staff were routed to a stand-alone kiosk in the waiting room for questions or sign-in.
Other units within the facility have undergone or will be undergoing similar upgrades: 3rd floor PCC, 4th floor North, 5th floor North, 3rd floor MIU, and ED are getting carpeting, nurses station upgrades, and/or casework.
