Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System began moving toward electronic medical records at the end of 2009, with the launch of ConnectCare in some of its first physician practices.
As more practices have come online, the health system is now looking to 2011 for the launch of ConnectCare in its three hospitals. Building on the lessons of the Richmond and South Carolina Bon Secours health systems, Hampton Roads is moving into a new era of patient care with electronic medical records.
